Slow moving large white light then extremely fast small red as it went to the sky

Standing on our deck this morning, another beautiful evening with lots of stars. Out of nowhere., due east of our location, assuming about 40 miles away, a very large bright white light moving south east. Obviously, first thought was a large passenger jet., the light was too big to be a small plane, but was moving about the speed of a passenger jet. Thought it was a little strange because of the time of the morning, and Jess do not fly over us at that time normally but then thought maybe it was military.

Not thinking much of it, but watching it because the light appeared out of nowhere. I would’ve seen it flying by on our horizon and it was not very high up guessing maybe about 10,000 feet which also seemed odd for that size of a plane at that altitude..

Still not thinking much of it but watching it it looks like it came twice dead stop for about one second and then turn 90° sharply right and went out of 45° angle at a speed that I could never even comprehend

As soon as it made that turn, it turned red, and the light was only about half of the size as the original white light did not leave a light trail behind it, but literally went from Horizon on the left to Horizon on the right and probably less than two seconds… it was traveling at a 45° angle and just wish it was gone
I have never seen anything move that fast and I know that we do not have anything that moves that fast

It literally looks like something out of a movie where you see the light travel all the way across the sky, and almost a blink of an eye. I’m only making this report because I definitely 100% know what I saw and it was amazing

I will try to give you guys the best sense of direction, but it definitely was headed south west over us, but I completely lost side of it within two seconds it was gone
