Saw exceptionally bright light in sky when several smaller lights appeared and moved up into sky
Was aboard a cruise ship near The Bahamas when I was looking off my balcony.
The weather was clear without clouds. The exhaust from our ship was creating a slight haze in the sky in places.
There was a crescent moon and a very bright light that was visible just below. I originally thought it was Mars as it had a orangish hue to it. After about 20 seconds, a smaller light appeared and moved up and away. The light continue to move up until it was not visible (15-20 seconds).
At this time, I got my iPhone 14 Pro out and started to record a video.
I recorded 2-3 more single lights that appeared and traveled up into the sky. I stopped the video after 2 minutes, but continued to observe the main light.
I started recording a second video that capture 2 more single lights appear as well as one where two lights appeared at the same time..
