Flew over our car, dead silent. It had turned off the lights we'd seen, flying just over treetops

My mum was driving me home from work in Greenfield, MA, I believe Summer/Early September of 2019. Around 10:20PM or so we were driving over the Connecticut River Bridge into Northfield from Bernardston when I saw a pair of lights moving low and slowly to the Northeast of us. I pointed it out to mum and she thought they were strange too, and she agreed to drive towards them instead of going straight home. We were driving down Main St in Northfield, but we couldn’t see them anymore (I think we’d lost them behind some trees as we left the bridge) so we turned onto School St. to just return home. I was leaning my head out the window, looking up to see if I could spot the lights again, when the thing passed right over our car.

I told mum to stop and look and she did, and she saw it too. It was dead silent (nothing, no hum or buzz or anything), I remember it being about the size of a small car, mum remembers it being a little smaller, but I did see it for longer. Any lights it had were turned off at this point, and I could only make out the outline, since it was almost the color of the sky, so probably a very dark gray or black, and matte, not glossy. I’d say it was going around 25mph, because it wasn’t going so fast that I couldn’t make out its shape, but fast enough that we only saw it for maybe 10-15 seconds or so (I think).

It was a weird shape—Chevron (had to look up what that meant, haha) might be the closest shape to describe it, but it was sort of made out of 3 triangular-ish shapes—one main triangle-ish for the body and 2 sort of triangle shapes for the “wings”, and I’m fairly positive they were separate from the body, attached by metal-beam like things.

I remember I went home and tried to find any sort of military drones or anything that looked like it, but nothing matched the shape exactly and I couldn’t find a single record of a drone that made ZERO noise, and I mean NOTHING, and the window was down.

The street we were on (and the whole town, really) is very wooded and very rural. Not many people live here, and it’s mostly older folks (definitely in 2019, before New Yorkers started moving in…). Not many people live on School St, and the lights in the house that the object passed over were all off.
I understand that because this was 5-6 years ago, my memories might not be the best, and I regret not making a report or writing down exactly what we saw the night we saw it. But my mum saw it too, and we both agree that it was strange, and that nothing else we’ve seen matches what we saw. It really freaked me out at the time.
