Location details: Walked down my street in spring daylight, its a quiet cul-de-sac.

Silent fast moving UFO soon followed by 2 scrambled jets

I'm a geological engineer, i saw this fast but silent UFO with constant red light, in spring daylight soon chased by two low-flying scrambled jets. White 8/8 overcast sky but no cloud interference for their low altitude, like a Wraith Terrace flight-path and continued trajectory until they sharp dissapear over the view of my cul-de-sac bungalows then terraces. So probably over the cemetry and on towards seaham in a straight line. I was returning home down a quiet cul-de-sac and just before my gate, a moving object in the sky caught my eye. My mouth agape, the almost overhead view of the black oval craft with constant red light (not flashing) was completely silent, i estimate it took 6 seconds for it to fly beyond the houses out of sight. Perhaps another 8 seconds of nothing - my checking the skies for anything else, then i hear the two jets coming from the same direction, they flew in tandem side-by-side, probably slightly lower altitude than the UFO, lower and further in land than the comparitive red srrow jets we get during sunderland airshow. These interceptors rocketed for a similar 6 seconds and i thought, "they'll not be able to catch it". The jet shapes from their underside were easy to perceive, but the UFO shape was a foreign i can't piece together in my mind, not triangular, pointed, cylinder, even "oval" doesnt seem right, as if between oval and sub rounded, no prominent fins just very black, no reflection of shades.
So long ago, i could be out by even a year but would be cool if someone else ever witnessed the same. I've just investigated someones FOIA i include attached here that 2005-2015 there were "zero intercepts of UFOs aliens or extra terrestrials", however a 2009-2019 FOAI of scotland alone have 6 to 20 QRA intercepts per year apprently the majority are russian craft, so they are telling us by this process of elimination, that this fast silent craft is man-made and therefore would be trailed by training aircraft?
