Rotating Metallic Triangle at High Elevation

I was watching planes from my hammock in the backyard. I live near the traffic pattern of several airports. While relaxing, I noticed a shiny object in the distance—it caught my eye as it appeared to be ascending into the sky, almost like a rocket launch from KSC. At first, I thought that might be the case.

However, upon closer inspection through my binoculars, I saw a large metallic triangular object coming from the southeast. It lingered above briefly before moving south. There appeared to be three glowing dots underneath, though they might have been reflections from the sun.

I watch planes from my hammock all the time, and I've never seen anything move the way this object did. It was, without a doubt, the weirdest thing I've ever seen in the sky.
