Uap/drone appeared and performed evasive maneuver

I took the dog out just after 7 p.m. I was watching geese fly overhead (they're migrating, coming in to find a place to rest outside of St Marys, Kansas). I also saw an aircraft with FAA lights (green/red) traveling along a vector from west ( fort Riley) flying east. At this moment I noticed a "star" above the geese get really bright, winding up slowly, as the plane approached, uap just zipped out of the way, but wound up its spinning lights directly proportional to the distance moved. It sat in one spot for a few seconds as the airplane went right by it, then those blue and white lights wound up and the thing corkscrewed across the sky, the frequency of spinning and the brightness were very bright and that thing was gone. I'm 47. Never have I seen this before. My phone was on the charger in the house. I didn't look at my phone for hours after, I was trying to write down everything I saw before my brain could corrupt it with videos on the internet.
