Spherical metallic Object descending in Greece/Ithaka
One evening, I was lying on a couch on my balcony, watching football on my iPad. In the background, the typical sounds of the village could be heard. Dogs were barking, and cars and scooters were driving up and down the street. Suddenly, these sounds disappeared without warning. At first, I didn't even notice because I was focused on watching football. But at some point, I became aware of a very high-pitched, tinnitus-like humming noise. I leaned forward to see what it was and noticed a spherical object in the air.
It was about 100 meters away from me in a straight line and was slowly descending vertically. The object's colors were metallic and dark, but strangely, it also appeared to have a liquid-like quality. In the middle of the round object was a horizontal white light, though it didn’t illuminate its surroundings. The object descended for about 10 seconds until it disappeared completely into the darkness.
