Saw a long silver flashing object that appeared to be leaving the sun, flashed a few times then disappeared. It wasn’t a plane

I was the only one that saw the object. I looked up and saw what looked like a long cigar shaped gray and silver thing either coming from or passing the sun and it was flashing a bright light. It flashed 4 or five times and then was gone. I could visibly see other airplanes in the sky that did not disappear
