I saw a line of lights that remained in formation and moved at speeds beyond mankind.

My boyfriend and I were driving home from family Thanksgiving going west on county road E. It was between 5:30 and 7:30 pm on Sunday Dec 1. I was driving, he was seated next to me in the passenger seat. It was a clear night and I was observing the night sky as I drove. I looked up above the roadway just as we passed the Maple Ridge Bible Church and saw what I had initially suspected to be the starlink satellites. The lights were above me west/southwest at probably an 80° angle. Knowing that my boyfriend had probably not seen the satellites, I said to him “look, it’s the starlink satellites. Have you ever seen them?” He replied that he had not and looked up to see the line of lights I was referring to. As soon as I had spoken I realized they were definitely NOT starlink as I had seen those before and these were not blinking and not moving… they seemed to just be stationery. We had a dialogue about how they couldn’t be starlink and we were both confused and in awe so I decided to pull over. I turned off on the turn for Pleasant Mound Road and parked on the roadside. The line of maybe 14-20 lights remained in the straight line formation but dropped in elevation and moved closer to Earth significantly. They went from looking like bright satellite-like stars to being what looked like a couple hundred feet above a nearby farm. At this time the lights were at a 30° angle towards the southeast. I looked away to grab my cell phone and looked back and they were gone. My boyfriend said they shot away faster than a rocket and was visibly shaken by the experience. I am not sure if we saw one craft with 20 lights or 20 individual crafts/orbs moving in formation together. The lights were not all equal distances apart but were in perfect linear formation. They did not blink or have any colored strobes they were just solid bright lights.
