3 Star split then 1 star/UFO Hovered over Tree and siblings chased it and disappeared in a flash.

My dad had a navy blue impala car. The back window was slanted so I loved resting my back on it like a recliner. I loved stargazing.

One evening, it must have been summer vacation because I don’t recall telling any of my friends, the flowing day about my encounter with the flying saucer.

I was stargazing looking toward downtown Houston. We lived very close to downtown about 2.5 miles. My dad would always park in Angle so two vehicles can fit. Being a corner house with no trees to block the star gazing view; it was my perfect stargazing spot.

I was sitting back looking at the sky. It must’ve been eight or 9 o’clock at night and I’ll recall my mother being home.

Looking west I can clearly see downtown view. I was looking at the stars in the Westward direction when I spotted the star that split up in three stars. And I kept my gaze on it because those three stars split up like a triangle, and and then the lights would travel so fast and just reunite again together in one ball. So I thought that was very strange and then it did it again that one large ball will split up in three balls and then come back together again so by that time I knew I just spotted a flying saucer. Back in the 1970s I called them flying saucers.

My brothers were playing in the street and I immediately called him. Hey come over here. Look at this. I see a flying saucer there’s a flying saucer. they all ran and looked up and sure enough it did it again. It split up in three different stars, and they will reunite faster in a blink of an eye. So we were all gazing at this phenomenon when suddenly one of those stars zipped across the street on the opposite side of the corner and was just hovering over the huge tree that was there at the opposite corner. I saw a dark disk with different colored orbs, Going Around At Bottom Of The Disk and it was making a continual humming sound.

At first we all stood staring at it and then one of my brothers shouted “come on let’s chase it”. We all at the same time ran after it, and in a blink of an eye it zip to the north and back up to the west where the three stars were at. The three stars United, then it zipped and disappeared. I never saw it again.

My brothers and I came back to the house we’re like, man, It disappeared quickly and I said well maybe they got scared with us crazy kids running after it. We told our cousin and friend across the street if heard the loud humming coming from the Flying saucer, and they both started laughing at us. Saying that they did not heard anything and there’s no flying Saucers.

I ran into the house and called my mother, and I told her mom we saw a flying saucer (Platillo Volador) mamá said “están locos” (y’all crazy) there’s no (platillo voladores). After that, my brothers and I never talked about it again until 2014; 37 years later.

In 2014, family gathering, we all sat around the dinner table reminiscing our childhood. I said I remember that time when I saw the flying saucer, and I called y’all to come see it and then we started chasing it down the street and then it disappeared in an instant. I saw the deer in the headlights look on all my brothers.

Pete said “Did that really happened?” I said yes we started chasing it down the street and then it zipped and disappeared. Then everybody started recalling the same thing and they were all asking me, Why haven’t we talked about this all these years? Because mom says we were all crazy that UFOs don’t exist. And from that point on whenever we gather together, we would reminiscing our childhood and our experience of the UFO encounter to our kids.

After that experience I always feel that I’m being watched. I’m not scared to them I just came to peace that if they wanted to hurt me that would have done it back in 1977 when we chased the flying saucer.

I have a picture when my husband and I took a group trip with the University of Houston downtown drama club to Las Vegas. We took a three hour helicopter ride to drink mimosas at the bank of the Grand Canyon. A picture of us was taken with the Grand Canyon background and when I developed the film, there’s an invisible UFO beaming colorful light in back back of us. I believe it’s a UFO and there might be skeptics that may say a flare from the lenses, but there’s no comparison from the flare and the invisible desk object behind us.

I believe in God and I believe in Genesis 1:1. God created the heavens and the Earth. The scripture says heavens which is more than one so I believe there’s Living being out there and they’re watching over us. I feel that they come to warn us that we are destroying this world and we need to start taking better care of it.
