Saw object in western sky, then it moved rapidly to eastern sky as if it knew I was watching it

Saw bright light in stationary position just before sunset about 10-15 miles away, viewed it with binoculars, then it moved incredibly fast to 180 degree position in eastern sky (about 3-5 miles away)

This is exactly like the orb I viewed and viewed about a month ago. Several friends of mine in the same area have viewed the same object at different times and locations over the past month.
