Saw object above a SWA flight. It turned to follow A/C for 3-4 secs, then transited South. Some heading changes. Very fast
I was in my hottub, gazing North. I watched a SWA flight heading NE, no cons, but easily identifiable. I noticed a white orb a little North and above the SWA aircraft. The Orb immediately turned hard left to follow the aircraft and maintained a NE heading for about 5 seconds. then it turned impossibly fast back to a heading to overfly my position, making small heading changes, like 10-20 degrees, both right and left. It overflew me and kept going until I lost sight.
It was moving very quickly. Winds aloft here are 12000 - 310 at 33kts, 18000 300 at 28kts, then shift more westerly and faster as you get into the jetstream.
To me, this eliminates the possibility of a balloon, because of the intentional turns and no easterly drift with the winds. I am a retired Navy Commander, with over 3000hrs in fast jets.
