Appearing through the trees, the light held our attention and then got sucked up skywards and disappeared, only to reappear to the left

No noise, no wings, no winkie lights like small airplane. The light swayed back and forth. The white light scattered sideways from the source. The sky was clear. The color changed to white and red.it the swooshed up like a J and disappeared quickly.The second was smaller.
