I saw a wall of light rainbow

I was a passenger in the car at night with my family, my husband was driving and my kids were sleeping. I was looking out my window and in the not far distance I saw a round wall of light in the sky, close to tree level but uncertain and the wall was divided by colors like a rainbow. Wide and somehow rough in terms of grainy light. I don’t believe in this sort of thing usually and I don’t take drugs. I had a funny feeling all day that time was acting strange.
