I saw a HUGE Ufo the size of a department store & shaped like a 3 story house with gables, etc.

I took my little dog outside to do his business. It was around 2 to 3 am in the morning. The date is approximate because 30 years have passed and I can't remember exactly. The next thing I know, I am looking up at a HUGE UFO that suddenly shot off to the south, towards Wharton, Texas. Where I was standing was in Fort Bend County, Texas, which is in between Sugarland and Richmond/Rosenberg, Texas. For 30 years I thought it was perfectly normal for me to be 7 blocks from my house in the middle of the night. I never questioned or wondered why I was in my front lawn one second and then in the next, I was 7 houses away, standing in the middle of a dark street in front of a dark empty field** at that time of night. I never would have gone that far away at that time of night, alone, even with my little dog. It wasn't until I was telling my friend about it and I looked up the streetview photo on Google Maps to show here exactly where I was when I saw it, that I suddenly asked myself, "How did I get so far away from my front lawn in the blink of an eye? Why was I standing in the middle of the street so far from my house at 2 to 3 am?" The answer is, I have no idea. Anyway, the best description of the shape of the UFO is that it looked like a 3 story house, the size of a department store, like a Sears. It had structures like gables and towers, etc. The craft was very, very close to me, and thus low on the horizon, so the atmospheric gases may have made the craft look bigger than it was, similar to how the atmospheric gases make the full moon look bigger when it is low on the horizon. Anyway, I don't know what made me look up; I don't recall hearing a sound; I just found myself looking up at it. It then shot off like a bullet towards the south, towards Wharton, Texas from where I was in the SW quadrant of Houston, Texas. I was not scared, either of the craft or to be standing in the middle of a street in the middle of the night. I was just amazed at what I had seen, and then I walked home. To clarify, when I found myself staring up at the craft, I was standing in the middle of Riverside Grove Drive, Houston, TX 77083, with the silver metal community mailboxes behind me or with my back to them, and I was facing south, towards Wharton, TX. The craft shot off as fast as a bullet to the south, towards Wharton, TX. I thought I filed a report with MUFON, but I can't remember, and it doesn't show up in this database. Thanks! ** At the time of the sighting, there were not a lot of houses built yet or finished in the field on the southside of Riverside Grove (as far as I remember).
