Enormous disk shaped craft. Roughly 200 ft above a 2 story apartment building during bright, clear day.

Between 2005 and 2006, I witnessed something unusual that I haven't been able to explain or find any reports about, despite it being in broad daylight and likely seen by many people. There were at least five other witnesses that I personally saw, but there seems to be no documentation of the event, which has pushed me to finally submit a report.

It was mid-afternoon, and I was called outside to my front porch, which overlooked an apartment complex and Glendale Park. Others were already outside, and I noticed neighbors across the street were also staring up in the same direction. Hovering about 200 feet above the apartment building was a stationary craft, roughly twice the width of the complex. It was a dull, metallic color with sections that seemed to be built in panels, some featuring large circles. It was completely silent, showed no obvious means of propulsion, and didn’t emit any lights.

Strangely, despite my prior interest in these types of sightings, I didn’t attempt to get a camera or react with any strong emotion. It felt like I simply acknowledged its presence, then I found myself back inside without any memory of watching it leave or choosing to go back in. Other witnesses I spoke to over the years remember it similarly—they saw it, but none recall it leaving or how they moved on with their day.

Given the time of day, the location, and the fact that the area was typically busy, it seems improbable that no one else reported this, yet I’ve found nothing. This lack of documentation has always puzzled me, and it’s part of what led me to finally report this experience.
