I was driving and saw this object. Looked like white painted metal. No wings, nor lights. No visible windows, No audible sound no trail
I was driving home from work when I was near what is referred to as island cove head I noticed out my drivers window that there was a oval shaped white object. It appeared like white on metal from my distance. There was no windows, no wings. It was not an aircraft I have seen before. It did not appear to be a weather balloon. I could not see any lights and it made no sound. There was no trail from it like from an airplane. It was travelling at a constant speed straight ahead, not upward. I could not stop as there were vehicles behind and in front of me and I was on a dangerous turn. I attempted to get a photo but driving and doing same was difficult to capture. The object then flew in across the center of the community of Hodges Cove and I lost sight of it as it disappeared over the hills in past the community playground.
I do not know what it was and have not seen anything similar before. I am 53 and from this area and drive this road twice a day for work.
