Gray, rotating cylinders above our house

My mom was driving my brother and I home one evening sometime between 1992-1994. As she turned onto our street, we could all see three unusual floating objects above our house. They were floating in the sky about 100-200 feet above our house. There were three gray, cylindrical objects that were slowly rotating in a circle. The cylinders were less than 50 feet in size. None of us knew what they were, including my mom. I didn’t speak about it anyone for 30 years. Then I saw a recent Unsolved Mysteries episode about UFO’s, and it sounded similar to what I saw. I then talked to my mom and brother about it who both said they remembered seeing the three large floating objects and still to this day have no clue what it could be.
