Location details: Hwy 17 North at the top of the "Mile Hill" as its known locally, on the East side of the highway.

Black triangle hovering at treetop level, size of a football field approx 50 yards off highway.

While driving in the northbound lane, I saw a large black triangle with white lights at each point. The craft was motionless at treetop level. It was just getting dark and the outline of the craft was barely visible, but the bright white lights were easily visible. The craft was tilted slightly toward the rear and higher at the front (or the part of the craft that was closest to me) and being familiar with the area, I knew that there was nothing there that could produce the lights in that spot. I was unable to stop at that time because I was working and was on a schedule.
