Very large orange blob of light
To the west out of my window I saw a very large blob of orange light that looked a bit like a fireball but did not seem to have come from the ground. It slowly shrank to a dot and disappeared. About a minute later it reappeared and grew big again before slowly shrinking to nothing once more. This happened over the span of several minutes and I don't know how long this had been happening before I saw it. It did not change its position in the sky. It had an irregular shape and was partially obscured by clouds at one point making it look like it had split in half. It was way too big to be a light from a plane or helicopter and there was no sound.
