Appeared to be a flaming orb moving south to north high altitude
This happened on Long Island so we have 3 major airports and 1 smaller airport within 25 miles so I’m no stranger to planes, commercial jets and helicopters. This was none of the above I saw no navigation lights or any kind. It’s path thru the sky followed no normal flight path of the 3 big airports the small airport might have something on this flight path but object was way too high to be landing or taking off from there. I just appeared in the sky while watching fireworks. It was a ball on fire going across the sky. To me it looked like flames from a rocket going across the sky. I checked for any launches and only thing I found was a space x flight but that was 5:20 the next morning so couldn’t be that. It happened just after sunset so it could be the sun reflecting off something but what it had no lights so not a plane. Its size makes it impossible to be a balloon. So I have no idea what it was. I saw it I videoed it please tell me what you think it was.
