Ball of light did zigzag

I was driving to work one morning. When I seen what I thought was a falling star approaching the side of my vehicle going the same direction I was. I seen it out of the corner of my eye and then I looked again it stopped did a zigzag and then shot off in the complete different direction. It was streetlight height maybe a little taller and it was probably about the size of a basketball but it was a ball of light. I swear it waited for me to be watching it as I was driving down the road and then it did it's zigzag. I was doing 60 miles an hour and so whatever this was went past me faster than that.
