UFO hovered over a wheat field behind my Neighborhood and the Masonic Lodge in Wentzville, Missouri.

When I was 12 in the summer of 1976, just before sunset, I witnessed a UFO in Wentzville, Missouri, 63385. I was playing on a small grassy hill in the Masonic Lodge parking lot behind my home on 411 West Northview. Behind the lodge was a large wheat field (where there is now a subdivision) and beyond that is an apartment complex. While playing on the hill I looked up and saw a large round circle/ dish shaped object in the air with a single small red dot on the outside edge of it. It didn’t make a sound and hovered over the field for a long time, I was mesmerized by it.

In my excitement, I went and got a flashlight and started flashing at it, it then descended towards me for a few minutes and then ascended way up in the air and turned into a big ball of glowing light. It then took off slowly in an easterly direction over the baseball filed while a game was going on. I followed it on my bicycle for as long and far as I dared to the outskirts of town and watched it disappear into the distance at the same slow rate of speed. The reason am reporting this now is because I saw on your website that there have been over 25 UFO sightings in my hometown, and I thought you could use this to compile your data. I’m curious to know how many other sightings there was in 1976. I have not experienced another UFO sighting since.
