Dark UFO in the sky, which hovered silently.

The exact date is unknown; it was somewhere between 2002 and 2005, possibly autumn. I was walking out of the store, into the parking lot one evening, when I looked up and saw a very large UFO of some sort. It was dark and hovered in the air, without moving. It was totally silent, and I felt like it was observing me. It may have had blue lights, but I don't remember for certain.
