Strange craft "swimming" in sky

I'm very skeptical, and never really believed in any kind of ufo or aliens (at least with how they're typically portrayed in media).

My partner and I decided to go out stargazing, and laid down a blanket in the soccer field around the church, because it was quiet and we figured we'd be undisturbed. We were laying on the blanket when I thought I saw a satellite, moving fairly quickly across the sky, I even pointed it out as a satellite. We were watching it, then it slowed down, and came to a stop. We were baffled. We continued to watch it, and it sort of 'swam' through the sky. It looked like a jellyfish or a germ under a microscope, it sort of bobbed through the sky. It's movements were fairly small, and the longer we watched, the smaller area it stayed in. Interestingly, whenever we saw a normal plane go through the sky it came to a completely stop. It was very far away, but appeared to be sort of triangular in shape, and would consistently flash a very small red light. There were two moments where it flashed very bright white, appearing 2x it's size. We stayed watching it for probably 15 minutes, and by the end it was hardly moving, mostly sitting in place with occasional bobbing around.

This is the only sighting I've ever experienced, and I'm still unsure of what to make of it. It didn't seem like a star, plan, or satellite. It moved so strangely. I searched for similar sightings and found this reddit post, these videos are EXACTLY what we saw, although movements were different.

I'm sorry for the lack of useful information, I wasn't prepared to record the experience at all, and only have our story.
