I was walking out to a friends, she was having a makeup party. Think it was just before 7pm

There was one ship. Only the height of tall trees, approx 60 plus feet from me. Rectangular, rounded corners, with lights around. Weirdly I wasn't scared, more intrigued, a little surprised. I live in a small market town. This was not expected. It hovered momentarily, then swiftly left, going higher at an angle. It felt ages, but wasn't really.

There was a car driver who did see it, we looked at each other and acknowledged it. Other than that the roads were quiet.

I was 17, didn't think to report it. Did tell my parents and friends as you do at that age.

This is my best recollection, as it was a long time ago.
