I saw a oval object with a very bright light zoom from behind me then stopped and disappeared.

I was outside with my brother and sister in the back yard and I looked into the night sky and seen a object with a light come from behind me. The object was moving for about 20 seconds then stopped and disappeared from thin air. The object I seen was a oval shaped object with a very bright light as soon as I saw it everything went silent. The object was a dark grey color. From where I was the object looked a little bigger then a star.
