Second sighting: June 5th Wed. 435 PM. I have pix and a short 25 sec. video of the object. Sitting in my backyard late afternoon when I heard a helicopter, looking up, the traffic helicopter flew by and above and in the distance there was a jellyfish looking object. The trees were blowing west to east and this object came south to north. There were no clouds to reference higher wind directions. After I snapped the pix and enlarged them it looked like an elongated jellyfish with bulbous eyes. Researching weather balloons and spy balloons nothing compared, though it had a milky material like a balloon and reflected the sunlight. Whiteman AFB is 60 miles southeast of Raytown where the new B 21 stealth bomber is based. So I assumed military in nature. Chinese spy balloon? The altitude was above the helicopter, roughly 10,000 feet.
First sighting: was in early May. Same time. Late afternoon. I just happened to look up and a dot "flew" by. Regrettably no pix. The object had no wings, or engines, and it made no noise. It was structurally different than the second sighting. It was a dull whiteish dot that didn't reflect the setting sun. It came from the same southerly direction-my back patio faces south where I sit in the evenings. This object was below the west to east moving clouds and seemingly "flew" above and between my neighbors large trees without disturbing them. It then climbed and disappeared in the clouds to the north.
