3 times, different day

In the past couple of weeks, I've seen three bright lights in a triangle shape in the sky three times. Once was during midday, and the other two times were at night while driving. The lights stay in one spot without moving. The first time, I watched them for 5 minutes before they disappeared. The second time, there were initially two lights, and then a third one suddenly appeared next to them. Tonight, there were three lights again, in the same position, but this time they moved from a triangle shape into a straight line and back again. All three disappeared in the blink of an eye. Has anyone else seen these lights or know what they might be? I tried to take a picture, but my phone's camera isn't great.
