Black, mylar looking, snake-like, sectioned cylinder

On sunday, August 4, 2019 at 1:40pm, as I was driving, I seen something behind the trees, in the sky. As I came around the curve in the road,the woods cleared and I could see better. I pulled over at a school entrance facing southwest. From my car, three of us witnessed a black, mylar looking, sectioned, cylinder, snake-like shape object, low in the sky. It either flashed a light or reflected the sunlight one time. It seemed to drift toward us and, after approximately 5 minutes, began to drift away.
