Bright amber light cruising like a plane then hover and leave like a rocket

Saw a bright amber light cruising the coastline of CaymanBrac on the Southern Coastline traveling East to West stop near us hover back and forth, then leave straight away like a rocket. Total duration was three minutes, took about 5 seconds to leave our atmosphere.
