I saw a large circular “orb” in the sky. I watched it for awhile. And then it took off and disappeared.

So I litterally remember this like it was yesterday. I was 20 years old. The date isn’t exact but I know it was sometime in May of 2015. I had gone out back to smoke a cigarette after dinner and I was looking out at the sky the sun had just gone down past the horizon so there was still plenty of light and I saw what I thought was the moon. I looked at the sky directly in front of me for about 5 mins. Then I turned 90 degrees to my left and I saw the actual moon. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had no explanation for this large white orb in the sky. Then the orb started to move slowly down from its original position at about a 35 degree angle. The decent took about a minute and then it stopped when it had reached a position directly underneath the actual moon and it paused. I wanted to go get my phone so badly but I just had this overwhelming feeling that if I turned my eyes away for even a second it wouldn’t be there when I looked back. So then it started circling the moon. It circled 2 times in the span of about 45 seconds. And then it started moving up at the same angle in which it had descended & back towards its original position. But this time it started picking up speed. Going faster and faster and then in the blink of an eye it rocketed straight up at an insane speed. And in the blink of an eye it was gone. I don’t have any idea what it was. But it was obviously some type of craft that emitted a fairly bright light. I never believed in aliens or ufos until that day. I can positively say it was the most insane experience of my entire life.
