a two second sequence of a spherical object that then takes on a tic tac appearance, then that of a flying "rod" with features

What looked like a sphere appeared on an infrared camera pointed upward. It moved away from the camera, then to the right and took on a tic tac appearance. Then it turned back towards the camera, then moved left and looked like a florescent bug, the forward part of the object remaining the same. Then, it lost most of its florescence revealing a rod-like structure with features as it proceeded upwards to the left and out of the screen.
