Craft was flying through the night sky during a lot of fireworks, changing directions multiple times, going straight up and back down
While outside this evening with my roommate we were watching fireworks going off all over the neighborhood. When around 9:10pm a craft was moving through the sky, with blinking green and red lights. At first I thought it could be a plane, but the lights were red and green, not red and white and they were flashing a lot faster than a planes lights usually would. It was moving SW through the sky when it came to a stop between 2 sets of fireworks and stayed for several minutes. At this point I told my roommate that I was going to grab my phone for a photo of it, when I went into my home she witnessed the craft start to ascend straight up into the sky (she was yelling to me from outside "its going straight up"). When I returned with my phone, it was much higher in the sky at this point I was able to snap a photograph (which only came out as a green light in the black photo). At this time the craft then started to move North, which i caught on video moving north over my house. I then ran through the house, and called my mother to go outside and also witness (not sure if either her or her husband did) because it was heading in the direction of her house. At this point while on the phone with her, the craft again stopped and sat for about a minute or two before shooting straight up into the atmosphere, then slowly lowering its way back down, and then continued to move North again.
