White light in sky south/southeast of Jackson, NJ.

Went outside for cigg, looked into the night sky towards the south/southeast and could see a light that would flicker often.

After about 20 seconds, light began to move south in bursts of speed for a second, then turn and head a different way, sometimes moving up and down.

Only a white light in the sky, no ship or craft spotted. Watched for 2 hours. Was able to see it again the next night.
