Witnessed an impossible eclipse of crescent moon.

Approximately 7:45 pm, April 20th, 2015, in Tucson, Arizona, I was running in the desert, away from ambient lights under clear sky. I watched an eclipse of the crescent moon.

Crescent light shrank to a point at bottom of moon, a few minutes of darkness, then point lit again, expanded back to crescent.

I thought it was an eclipse, but now i realize this is impossible, the crescent moon in in front of the earth. This means that an object larger than the moon passed before the moon.

I saw all this with my naked eye. Didn't have my phone to take a photo.

I am male, 46 years old. I am from this area.
