Rod-shaped object with multi-colored lights. Changing positions and/or shape in southeastern sky.

In southeastern sky, rod-shaped object (viewed through binoculars) with blue, green, red, white lights - lights appeared to be changing colors. Object was changing positions from straight to angled.

Photos taken - in some photos object has colored tail, in other photos there is just the rod-shaped object.

We strongly suspect that the object was the star called "Sirius." PD
