Red fireball flying through sky

We noticed a red fireball flying east through the sky at a constant speed, it did not change direction or shape.

We lost sight of it after it left field of vision.

It was not an airplane or a helicopter for it had no flashing lights plus both a helicopter and an airplane were in the area due to an airport being near by.
