The anomalous activity in our skies continues unabated, and since the last sighting summary we posted on August 23, we have added 929 new reports to our online Data Bank. The reports range from recent sightings to recollections of events that happened as far back as 1960. While many seem to be commonly misidentified objects such as drones, balloons, planets, etc, a large number are truly spectacular sightings that are extremely difficult to attribute to any kind of human technology. Add in the fact that some of the observations are made by pilots, air traffic control personnel, flight crews and other types of trained observers, and you have a strong case for something beyond our understanding operating freely in our planet’s airspace.

Here are what we consider to be some of the most noteworthy recent sightings:

November 1-2, 2024 – Pacific Northwest

On November 1st, a pilot and his first officer on a commercial flight near Lakeview, Oregon, observed multiple bright white lights moving independently at high speeds, estimated around Mach 3, from their position at 36,000 feet. The lights appeared to circle each other, occasionally forming a triangle and increasing in speed with intensity, while remaining roughly 90-100 miles away. The sighting lasted about 45 minutes, with the objects appearing and disappearing intermittently. Air traffic control confirmed no military activity in the area, and a local driver mentioned similar sightings reported by other flight crews recently. FULL REPORT

The next night, the same crew on a flight from Los Angeles to Boise observed another remarkable display. A series of bright white lights formed triangular shapes, moved at high speeds, and exhibited unusual behaviors. Initially, two lights appeared, followed by a vivid triangular formation of three lights that seemed to rotate and shift. Additional lights joined, creating multiple triangles, some of which grew in size or appeared to collapse into lines. The lights continued throughout the flight, often forming groups of five, and seemed to center over northern California and central Oregon. During descent, the pilot observed two glowing lights in the clouds, which then disappeared. FULL REPORT

October 26, 2024 – Fort Collins, CO

A witness observed a silent, dark metallic grey triangular object, about 30 feet on each side, flying directly overhead in an apartment parking lot. The craft, featuring white lights at each corner and a light in the middle of its left side, moved southward from 90 to 60 degrees overhead in approximately five seconds, disappearing from view. Its silent, steady movement and distinct shape differed from any familiar aircraft or drones the witness had previously seen in the area.

October 21, 2024 – Mountain Center, CA

A military-trained observer was camping alone in Mountain Center, California, when suddenly everything (all natural animal/insect noises) went completely silent and the entire area lit up brighter than the brightest full moon he’d ever seen. When he looked out from the bed of his truck he saw a bright white oval light, about 20-30 feet in length, hovering silently at treetop level around 100 yards away. The light illuminated the entire area and remained completely still and noiseless, resembling a large helicopter in size but emitting no heat. After observing it for a minute, the witness retreated back to his truck bed. He fell asleep and awoke at 2:30 a.m., drenched in sweat, with no trace of the light remaining.

September 28, 2024 – Spearfish, DC

An astrophotographer and his wife observed a massive, chevron-shaped craft with a grayish aura and structured white lights, crossing the sky in just 10 seconds. The object appeared to be in the upper atmosphere or low Earth orbit, moving silently at an estimated speed of 523,440 mph—around 238 times faster than the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. The couple initially saw a hazy orb, followed by the large craft gliding smoothly from northwest to east, resembling a ghostly, ethereal “stingray.” Despite the astrophotographer’s familiarity with satellites and aircraft, he found the sighting unexplainable, with no comparable man-made object.
