Oval shaped fireball object with no visible "tail," traveling eastbound over Islip.

Oval shaped fireball object with no visible "tail" traveling eastbound over islip. Looked like a plane on fire, then disappeared in about 1 minute. No bright flashes or blinking lights.

Observed through sun-roof while driving on Sunrise hwy Saturday night.
