Cube of Fire

Object initially seen flying in a circular pattern, traversing a loop on a horizontal track. Estimated the loop to be approx 3 quarters of a mile wide and the object was traversing this space once every second at a distance of 1 mile away. Altitude approx 1500ft.

The object resembled a “cube” of fire, very vivid when seen through naked eyes. When viewed nightsight it resembled a picture frame, the inside looked like a mass of thrashing worms or eels. (This image looked green due the nightsight). Magnification was X4.

After seeing object carry out this manoeuvre for approximately 2 minutes the object stopped “on a penny”. This allowed us to view the object clearly. After approximately 2 minutes, object started to descend in a falling leaf motion until it disappeared from view behind trees. Note: as we didn’t see if it did actually land I cannot say it did, but in the time we remained in the location it did not reappear.

Object was seen from a training area (note object landed outside training area) by military personnel. This object did NOT resemble flares, munitions of any kind, aircraft of any known kind, meteors, shooting stars, satellites or space stations, aurora borealis or any known atmospheric phenomena. No thunderstorms in area at time.

No official report made due to fear of “career suicide”.
