Bright cigar shaped object vertical and stationary in sky

The object seen was high in the air, vertical, stationary, in the shape of a cigar. It was bright white in color. My daughter and I both saw it and took pictures. It did not move for at least 15 minutes.

After we drove past it and got home 5 minutes later, I was not able to see it, although it may still have been there.
