Square bright flashes of light in Maryland

We were driving down a country road, surrounded by corn fields, in Galena, Maryland, and in the night sky appeared a HUGE perfect square of the BRIGHTEST WHITE light.

It flashed for about a second. Then it happened immediately three more times.

There was either one single object, moving left to right, or four separate objects.

Neither of us had ever seen anything like this before!
