|Not sure what I just witnessed, but it was very unusual.
I just took my dog out for his last bathroom run, when I noticed a light that, at first, I thought it was a satellite. It was much brighter than a satellite, and as I stared at it passing across the night sky in a mostly easterly direction, I realized the altitude was much lower than what a satellite would be at.
It also seemed it wasn't maintaining a constant speed, sort of slowing a bit and then resuming an otherwise constant speed.
I found it so unusual, I ran out to the end of our dock on Lake Whatcom and watched it eventually disappear over the distant mountains. Never seen anything like it before. Wondering if anyone else noticed this.
