Oval craft hovering 4ft off ground. 8ft to the right was a "grey."

Lightning storm woke us (3 adults 29 yrs old to 55yrs old) at just before 3am. Looked out window into field about 80 ft away. Oval craft hovering 4ft off ground. 8ft to the right was a "grey." Visible for several minutes in several lighting strikes. Then just gone.
