The top of the formation was a red light, the other lights in the formation were a bluish green.

At 20:17 Local what appeared to be a formation was approaching from the ocean at a few hundred feet. As the formation crossed land it rose in a 1 mile distance through the cloud deck at approximately 1500 feet and rapidly departed the area on a WNW track heading in the general direction of Buxton/Gorham.
