Fireball looked like plane on fire.

Saw what looked like a fireball or plane on fire in the sky. We live right by an airport, so I first shrugged it off then thought that's like on fire or something so I ran inside to get my husband. He's usually the one that explains things and he said the same thing like a plane on fire but no blinking lights at all or a tail or trail.

It flew off over the house towards the Long Island Sound.

I wish I would have taken a picture, but it happened so fast after I ran back inside to get my husband.
