Strange lighted object in Cedar Rapids

Saw a light coming up over the trees and houses on Mt. Vernon rd. Thought it was a helicopter at first then it started moving irradically and changing colors. Red, blue, green, then a really bright silvery white.

Thought it could be a remote toy bigger than that thought and then started flying further away.

It was 14 degrees outside so I don't see how anyone would be playing with something.

I stopped at Hy Vee and took video of it. I couldn't capture the size or the colors with my phone.
