Triangular pulsating light drops a flashing orb.

My husband called me to the front door. I went and looked at what he wanted me to see.

There was a triangular pulsating light in the sky that would move left to right. When it stood still, it dropped a flashing orb from it, it seemed from beneath.

The triangular object slowly went from left to right, stood still and then vanished.

It was far away but we could make out the shape along with the orb.
