Boomerang shaped black craft with lights over Fort Myers, Fl.

My 12 yr old son and I were looking up in the sky using google star maps to look at constellations on our lainai at approx. 9p - the object was a curved boomerang shape with lots of white lights with red outer glow on the underside of it, you could discern the harder outlined edge of the object behind the lights.

It was about helicopter height in the sky and below the regular flight paths of the RSW flights and "glided silently" North to South across the Gateway neighborhood. SR82 and Griffen Drive. It was so quiet if we hadn't been looking up to star gaze we would not even have seen it at all. It just vanished abruptly after 12 seconds or so.
